Built in 1901, the Georgian-style Tupper Manor was designed by Guy Lowell, the renowned architect and creative spirit behind Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts. Lowell designed this historic home for the Bryce Allan family, who were well known in Boston society for their gracious hospitality and sophisticated entertaining.
The result is an elegant home with easy flow, moving from our sophisticated marble Foyer and sweeping grand staircase into the dazzling Ballroom and glass-enclosed Conservatory. Throughout the mansion, the ocean provides a dramatic backdrop to your wedding.
A premier waterfront property, Tupper Manor offers indoor and outdoor venues that accommodate up to 190 guests for a seated dinner in an incomparable setting. Impress your guests in our mansion’s relaxed elegance, historic grounds, and scenic setting – the venue of choice for distinctive weddings on Boston’s North Shore.
Our 91-room Wylie Inn offers onsite accommodations for Tupper Manor weddings. Welcome your guests to coastal serenity, a historic sense of place, and seaside accommodations on our 10-acre oceanfront property. We are happy to create room blocks for your wedding guests.
